Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of the FreeSpace mobile application ("the App"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard EULA also applies.

1. The service

The App helps you find and remove unwanted photos, videos and contacts, compress videos and store private items on your device. All analysis is performed locally. Suggestions are automated and may not be perfect. You are responsible for reviewing items before deleting them.

2. Subscriptions and purchases

• FreeSpace offers optional Pro features through auto-renewing subscriptions (for example weekly or yearly) and/or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings, or from Settings → Manage subscription in the App. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies.

3. Free tier

Some features are available for free with daily limits. We may change free-tier limits and features over time.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, resell or misuse the App, or use it in violation of any law.

5. Your content

Your photos, videos and contacts remain yours. We do not access them outside your device. Deleted items are moved to the system's Recently Deleted / Trash where available. Contacts changed by the App are backed up on your device first. Items stored in Secret Space exist only on your device and will be lost if you uninstall the App or lose the device.

6. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data, including photos, videos or contacts, resulting from your use of the App. Keep regular backups of important data.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or the App at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using the App at any time.
