How do I free up storage on my Android phone?

Open FreeSpace and let it scan your photo library. It groups duplicate photos, similar shots, blurry photos, screenshots and large videos and shows how much space each category takes. Review the suggestions, tap Delete, and the items move to the system Trash, where you can still restore them.

Does FreeSpace upload my photos?

No. Every photo, video, contact and calendar event is analysed on your phone. Nothing is uploaded and you don't need an account.

Is FreeSpace free?

Yes. Scanning, browsing every category, Swipe cleaning and contact backups are free, with a daily delete limit. FreeSpace Pro removes the limit and unlocks Smart Cleanup, the video compressor, contact merging and Secret Space.

Which photo does FreeSpace keep in a group of similar photos?

It always keeps the best shot: your favourite first, then the sharpest, highest-resolution photo. You can change the selection before deleting.

Can I get deleted photos back?

Yes. Deleted items go to Recently Deleted on iPhone or the Trash on Android (Android 11 and later) and can be restored there for a limited time.

Is it safe to merge duplicate contacts?

FreeSpace saves a backup of your contacts on your phone before every merge or delete, and you can restore it from the Contacts screen.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Settings → Manage subscription in FreeSpace, or go to Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions (or App Store → Subscriptions on iPhone). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
